The flat blade is usually best for this! You may need to cut it into smaller pieces and do not over fill the containers - this is a common mistake.

It is not easy to eat "Humble Pie" but here goes! It is unfortunate that I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and I was hoping that the "Magic Bullet" would be my salvation, because of its ease of use and I looked at it with channel vision, that I wanted to use it only as a fruit/veg juicer. It didn't come up to my expectation, but I am enjoying the other side of it, experimenting with what I can do. I really like the peeler, absolutely superb. I have crippled hands and life can be pretty daunting at times. I apologise for my earlier remarks! Juicing will be a matter of practice.

You need to use the cross blade attachment to juice, you shoudl not have to cut the carrot up too small and then it will work fine.

i was using the juicer and the juice spilled over and some went into the power base,what was i doing wrong?

I tried to make carrot juice using the juicer. The correct blade was used and the carrot was peeled and cut into small enough pieces but it didnt work and just left pulp in the extractor with no juice created at all, why is this?

First of all when grating cheese, it has to be a hard cheese and you must not over fill the bullet container because the blade needs to get up enough speed to turn at full speed and therefore grate the cheese.
