An outstanding product that is far more effective than you'd expect from looking at it. I've had mine for a year now and I don't bother with my Dyson any more. Even though the tray on the Swivel Sweeper is pretty small and needs to be constantly emptied it's still much easier than lugging a big vacuum around and messing about with a power cord. It's actually more effective than my Dyson at picking up things like fluff and threads from the carpet.

At the start you will get 45mins use as a minimum although I get about an hour from a new charged battery. Of course just like your mobile phone battery, the Swivel Sweeper battery will erode over time and will not hold its charge as well in 12-18 months if you look after it, it can be eroded fatsre if you over charge it or do not follow the care instructions. If that happens you can buy replacement batteries.

I bought a swivel sweeper 18 months ago It is the best cleaner I have ever had My Dyson is only used once or twice a month The swivel sweeper works on tiles wooden floors and carpets equally well. Everybody who sees it has bought one or two Imust have recommended at least 20 people who are all delighted with it

Hi Red, The problem with any battery that is rechargeable is that you have to give a full over night charge the first time you use it. We have no other probelms with these batteries. We always advise that customers try to give a few full charges and full discharges in the first weeks of use. As with all regularly used rechargeable batteries they will last at least a year if treated well.

My mum bought her self and me a swivel sweeper. After years of trying different vacs and finding out that they don't do what they say, it was a great pleasure to find a vac that does what it says and more. I am disable and can not carry most things or push heavy objects including vacs. But this is great and i have now started to vac a room everyday as it is so easy to use and a pleasure whether am sat down or stood up. The Best Bargin i have got in the last 5 years.

I have had years of experience with assorted vacs, cilinder and upright, as a school cleaner and Armed Forces wife but the swivel sweeper takes first prize. So light and easy to use. I have bought several swivel sweepers for myself and members of my family. Although it is great for picking up crumbs and nails!, it does not pick up my kids glitter or shiny shapes they use for sticking on pictures.

Remember that the Swivel Sweeper is not a vacuum so while it may pick up some glitter and it depends on what floor surface you are using it, it is even a chore for certain high powered vacuums to get gliter up in one go. I bought the swivel sweeper about 8 months ago, but right from the start the battery did not charge for long. It now only charges for about 3 minutes. I have run it right down to try again, but with the same result. Do you supply replacement battery and charger?

Just today only i bought a swivel sweeper.. So at the fist time i have to charge the battery for 6 hours, after that every time i used how much time i have to re charge the battery ??

I would like to know if it is good for dog hair.

I bought two sweepers, one for myself and one for my daughter, for xmas, and we are so delighted we wished we had had them ages ago!

I bought three swivel sweepers in november 2006 and was so impressed, however just today My Mother who has one has complained that the battery only seems to hold the charge for a minute or so before cutting even though the power pack has been plugged in for twenty four hours. Please advise us what to do. Just a couple of minutes is not long enough to do anything of use.

Hi Jennifer! The instructions say that you should not charge your sweeper for more than 16 hours on the first day and then only a couple of hours after that. It looks like your mother over charged the battery on this occasion...BUT no worries, call our friendly customer service team and we will get you a new one sent out, but please do take care to read the instructions to avoid further disappointment.
